2017 Canadian Indoor Singles Championships

Vancouver - British Columbia| October 27, 2017

The 2017 Canadian Indoor Singles Championships will be kicking off this weekend in Vancouver, British Columbia at the Pacific Indoor Lawn Bowling Club. The World Cup qualifier will run from October 29, 2017 until November 4, 2017. The Indoor Singles will be the final major championship event of the season.


This year’s Indoor Singles Championship will feature the return of last year’s men’s champion, Hirendra Bhartu (BC), and last year’s women’s champion, Pricilla Westlake (BC). Hirendra will be looking to defend his title against a men’s field featuring two players under the age of 25 from Ontario – Erik Galipeau and Josh Cameron - as well as 2014 Canadian Indoor Singles Champion John Bjornson (MB). Pricilla will be up against a strong women’s field featuring all three 2017 Canadian Triples Championship Bronze medal winning team members, Jan Robinson (AB), Jennifer MacDonald (AB) and Pat Vos (AB).
