The Peterborough Lawn Bowls Club is no stranger to hosting national championships, having recently hosted the Canadian Senior Triples Championships in 2017. The chair of this event will be Ivo Nightingale. With their expansive clubhouse and top-notch greens, Canada’s youth competitors will be in for a treat at the Peterborough LBC.

The Commonwealth Lawn Bowls Club is also a familiar venue having hosted the 2016 Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships. Commonwealth will also be drawing on their experience hosting past Canadian Blind Bowls Championships as they have taken on the challenge to partner with BCB to host an inaugural national para-bowls championship concurrently with the Outdoor Singles portion of the Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships. The chair of these events will be Brian Ranger. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting new national competition.

The Wanderers Lawn Bowls Club has been eager to host the Canadian Mixed Pairs Championships since the 10-year hosting calendar was released in 2017. Co-chaired by Ann MacDonald and Lena Cameron, this event will undoubtedly be a success and have participants itching to go back to Canada’s east coast.

The Pacific Indoor Bowls Club (PIBC) will host the Canadian Indoor Singles Championships once more, from October 19 to 24, 2020. This will be the 17th year that the PIBC has hosted the event, and chair Serge Pannu is excited to host the event once more. With pristine artificial carpet covering six rinks, players across the country can look forward to playing at the world-class indoor facility in Vancouver, BC.
