Bowls Canada Selects Agency for Brand Development and Website Redesign Project

Ottawa (ON) | August 11, 2020

After issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure professional website design and brand development services, Bowls Canada has officially selected the digital marketing agency inMotion to help us achieve our accessibility, marketing, and information-sharing objectives.


InMotion shares in our vision of bringing Canadians together through bowls, and will help us accomplish this by ensuring we brand ourselves as a national inclusive organization and comply with the utmost accessibility standards in the development of the new website. Para Bowls will be fully integrated into our brand and the website will be fully accessible for individuals with disabilities. The website will also have a fresh and modern look and allow for efficient retrieval of information for players, clubs, and PSOs.


Some other features to get excited about:

  • A password protected training and club resource hub
  • Dynamic event calendar and club locator features
  • Search feature to find site information quickly
  • Extensive photo gallery that clubs and PSOs can use for their own communications

“We are excited to be moving in this new direction with inMotion,” said Bowls Canada President Ian Howard.  “This project will help us move towards our vision of Bringing Canadians Together Through Bowls and is in keeping with the organization’s desire to meet the needs of all bowlers across Canada. We want visitors to land on our site and understand that bowls is a dynamic, fun and accessible sport for all ages and abilities. ”


Bowls Canada’s Executive Director Anna Mees is also thrilled to be moving forward with inMotion.  “Not only did the inMotion team come highly recommended, but we could feel right from the initial exploratory conversation that they had a feel for our audiences and goals.  We want our website to be the central resource hub for the Canadian bowls community as we work together to advance the sport in a safe, agile and enjoyable way.”
