Bowls Canada Boulingrin is pleased to announce a new dynamic staffing model for the national office.
In addition to the Executive Director and part-time bookkeeper, three new positions have been created to reflect the demands of the current sport environment.
A full-time Technical Coordinator will be hired to provide much needed support to the Coaching, Officiating, National Championships, Membership and High Performance programs. A half-time bilingual Communications Coordinator will help reposition the organization in the public arena as well as ensure that the membership is kept up to date with national program activities and events. A part-time Administrative Assistant will provide much needed clerical support within the office.
“This new structure is imperative for the growth and sustainability of bowls in Canada,” said BCB Vice-President Terry O’Neil. “We need to grow to fully meet the challenges of today’s amateur sporting world.”
“We are confident this new staffing model will allow us to almost immediately provide improved services for our membership” said Anna Mees, Bowls Canada Executive Director.
