Bowls Canada Announces Reinstatement of National Programming

Ottawa (ON)

After a thorough analysis completed by Bowls Canada’s Covid Response Team, the organization is pleased to confirm the reinstatement of national programming at the local and provincial levels providing all applicable health authority protocols are respected. This includes but is not limited to Umpire Training Clinics, NCCP workshops and Learn to Bowl programs.

This decision recognizes the wide variance in reopening states across the country, and not all provincial bowls associations may be in a position to reinstate programming at this time. Program and event coordinators are encouraged to access the BCB Return to Play Framework and also review their local and provincial health authority resources to determine their readiness to run programming.

Nationally organized “in-person” events still remain suspended until a consistent state of reopening is reached across all provinces and territories. Bowls Canada is continuing to move forward on development and delivery of virtual programming.
