Canadians Selected to Compete in Wales

Ottawa, Ontario | May 1st, 2018

Ten Canadian bowlers have been selected to compete in an invitational event in Wales this summer.

The Welsh Bowling Association will be staging an invitational event from July 6-14, 2018 in Cardiff, Wales as a test event for the 2019 Atlantic Championships. The bowlers selected to represent Canada include:

The event will be an excellent opportunity for some of Canada’s veterans to play along side athletes from our Development and Youth Squads.  This will be the first taste of international competition for several of the players. This Welsh invitational event will provide a tremendous development opportunity for these up and coming athletes as they move along our player development pathway. Along with Wales, the Canadians will face the likes of Australia, Ireland, Malaysia, South Africa, and USA.
