Fredericton Lawn Bowling Club will be hosting the Mixed Pairs Championships this year.  The Canadian Mixed Pairs Championship is one of Bowls Canada’s most popular championships, which enables men and women to compete together for a National title.

Fredericton hosted the Mixed Pairs Championships in 2007 as well as the Canadian Juniors and U25 Championships in 2013.  Some of Canada’s top bowlers also call Fredericton LBC home including Pat Beggs, Jeff Mulherin, Eldon McLaughlin and Walter Steeves, all of whom have won gold medals at various Canadian Championships.

Transportation

There will be daily transportation to and from the host hotel and the green and for Thursday evening’s special event.

We will also be providing pick up at the Fredericton Airport for arrivals and transportation from the host hotel to the airport for return flights. Please insure that your flight information is provided on the SRF.

Food Service

Meals
We will provide a full meal package, which will include:

  • Opening Reception with “finger foods” and cash bar on Monday Evening
  • Coffee or tea throughout each day of play
  • Catered lunch with dessert each day during Round Robin play
  • Light snacks after close of play each day
  • BBQ meal after medal round and closing Ceremonies

Special event:

On Thursday September 17 we are planning to have a meal at a local downtown restaurant (Vault 29) and then those who wish to can request a ticket to The Maritime Kitchen Party, which is part of the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival. If you wish to attend the Kitchen Party, please indicate this on the SRF and include the $17 payment with your meal package payment.
