National Bowls Day 2025 Official Day Unveiled
Bowls Canada Boulingrin is pleased to announce that Saturday, June 7th, 2025 will mark the 9th annual National Bowls Day in Canada! National Bowls Day has been celebrated from coast to coast across Canada, and we hope you join us on the first Saturday of June to continue celebrating the great sport of lawn bowling.
Bowls Day is an opportunity for Canadian clubs to raise their profile within the community and attract new participants to the sport and their programs. We highly encourage all clubs across Canada to join as last year’s event helped attract new participants and members. Based on feedback received after National Bowls Day 2024, 85% of new participants to the club due to the Open House event inquired about memberships or programming at the club. We also heard back from clubs that hosting this event helped to increase their visibility within their community. It seems like a win-win situation!
Online registration will open in the New Year (another news release will be published sharing all details on registration). BCB will be offering clubs who register for the national event access to online marketing and promotional material (or physical materials available for pre-ordering) to bring your event to new heights! Once again this year, swag kits will be sent at no cost by BCB to all participating clubs that can be used to take their event to the next level!
BCB will, once again, be organizing online contests and games with prizes in the week leading up to the event to make some noise about the annual celebration and share the lawn bowling festivities hosted across Canada!
