The 2018 North American Challenge (NAC) is a bowls challenge match between Canada and the United States of America (U.S.A). The 2018 NAC will be held at the Laguna Woods Lawn Bowling Club in Orange Country, California from October 11-13, 2018.
The teams are named after Dick Folkins, a legendary American bowler and Graham Jarvis, a long time international contender for Canada. The disciplines included in this event are: singles, pairs, triples and fours.
“We are excited with the blend of experienced and youth athletes selected for the North American Challenge,” stated Darryl Fitzgerald, National Development Coach. “Our goals are to achieve podium success while also providing international experience for the up and coming future national program athletes. I think we have a great mix of athletes to achieve both goals”
