Official Date Announced for National Bowls Day 2022
Bowls Canada Boulingrin is pleased to announce that Saturday, June 4th, 2022 will mark the 6th annual National Bowls Day in Canada. Bowls Day is an opportunity for Canadian clubs to raise their profile within the community and attract new participants to the sport and their programs.
In 2021, many bowls clubs were able to open their doors by following varying phases of return to play protocols. Pandemic restrictions will continue to be unpredictable as we approach Bowls Day, and we therefore encourage all clubs to register and gain access to the toolkit of free resources, promotional support, and a chance to win fantastic prizes in advance of this day.
“Nobody knew exactly how the pandemic would affect clubs last year, but many were able to get back to in-person events at the last minute,” said Communications and Safe Sport Coordinator Casey Donnelly. “This year we aim to be ready for in-person events assuming public health authorities deem it safe.”
Bowls Canada will continue to offer virtual Bowls Day contests and activities on Facebook this year. Tune in from May 30th – June 4th to participate online and win great prizes.
