Bowls Canada Boulingrin Appoints Incoming Chief Executive Officer

Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB) is pleased to announce that Britany Gordon will be joining our team as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) starting January 8th, 2024.

Britany brings close to 20 years of experience working in the Canadian sport system with demonstrated expertise in organizational governance, event management, and sport development. An engaged and member-focused leader, her career spans from the national level, to the provincial level, and all the way to the local level of sport. With involvement ranging from summer and winter sports and working in both team to individual sports.

After thirteen years working in the nation’s capital at several national sport organizations (i.e., Lacrosse Canada and Squash Canada), and with the Coaching Association of Canada, she pursued an opportunity out east to enhance her leadership skills and business acumen while providing her with a greater understanding of the operations and realities of sport at the provincial and grass-roots level. She credits her time at the national level for creating a foundation of sport administration, but it’s been her years at the provincial and local level that have truly provided her with the knowledge and experience of managing and running sport organizations in Canada.

Britany looks forward to her start with BCB and leading the organization as it executes the 2023 to 2026 strategic plan and servicing and supporting the Bowls community including coaches, athletes, parents, committees, and volunteers.

Please join us in welcoming Britany to our bowls community.
