Viewed by many as the most prestigious international lawn bowling event, the Commonwealth Games is an international multi-sport event involving athletes from the 71 nations and territories that make up the Commonwealth of Nations. Lawn Bowls is one of the core sports on the Commonwealth Games program and this event. This means it has been played at every Games since 1930 with the exception of Kingston, Jamaica where no Lawn Bowls facilities were available.
The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will be held in venues across Birmingham and the West Midlands from 28 July until 8 August 2022. Lawn bowls at Birmingham 2022 will feature both able-bodied and Para lawn bowls at Leamington Spa’s Victoria Park.
