Viewed by many as the most prestigious international lawn bowling event, the Commonwealth Games is an international multi-sport event involving athletes from the 74 nations and territories that make up the Commonwealth of Nations. Lawn Bowls is one of the core sports on the Commonwealth Games program and this event. This means it has been played at every Games since 1930 with the exception of Kingston, Jamaica where no Lawn Bowls facilities were available.

The Glasglow 2026 Commonwealth Games will be held in four venues across Scotland from July 23rd until August 2nd, 2026. Lawn bowls at Glasglow 2026 will feature both able-bodied and Para lawn bowls, and for the first time, will be competed indoors.
