North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club to Host 2026 Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships

Bowls Canada is pleased to announce that the North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club will serve as an official host venue for the 2026 Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships [Majors], taking place August 16-24, 2026.

This announcement represents an important step in finalizing the 2026 Championships, with additional host locations to be confirmed shortly as agreements are completed.

The 2026 Championships will mark a significant milestone for the sport in Canada, as it will be the first time the Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships are contested entirely on artificial greens. The North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club’s high-quality facilities and experience in supporting competitive bowls make for an exciting venue for this landmark event.

The dates for all 2026 Championships were announced in February to support early season planning for athletes and participants. With host locations now being confirmed, the next critical step is in place, allowing competitors to begin arranging travel and accommodations.

To further support planning, Bowls Canada will also be securing airline discount codes, which will be shared with participants and the broader community in the near future.

“Our priority has been to ensure that each host venue is well-positioned to deliver a strong and consistent championship experience,” said Britany Gordon, CEO at Bowls Canada. “We are pleased to now confirm North Vancouver and look forward to announcing the remaining locations shortly.”

Bowls Canada recognizes the importance of timely information for athletes and clubs and appreciates the continued engagement from the Bowls community as preparations for the 2026 Championships continue.

Further details, including additional host sites and full event information, will be released as they become available.
