2017 Juniors & Under 25 Championships

July 31 – August 7, 2017

The 2017 Canadian Junior and Under-25 Championships will be held this year at the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.  An excellent event for the young athletes of bowls, this open event will give these athletes the opportunity to compete for National titles, berths on the National Youth Development Squad and for the winners of the Under-25 Championship, the opportunity to represent Canada at the 2018 World Youth Championship at the Broadbeach Bowls Club in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia in February 2018.

Established in 1987, the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club has over 140 members, making their club the largest total membership in Nova Scotia.  Dartmouth has hosted many Canadian Championship events including the Canadian Championships and Canadian Senior Triples Championship. The club is looking forward to hosting Juniors from across the country for this exciting week of bowls.

Transportation

Transportation from Halifax Stanfield International Airport to the host hotel will be provided for anyone who requires it. Transportation from the host hotel to the Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club will be provided to anyone who requires it. The Dartmouth Lawn Bowls Club is approximately ten minutes’ drive away from the host hotel. Those not staying at the host hotel will need to make their own transportation arrangements.
