Coming off an impressive showing at the 2023 World Youth Championships in Ireland, Owen Kirby has proven he belongs at the next level. With international experience at events such as the North American Challenge and the Wales Invitational World Youth Championships, Baylee van Steijn and Emma Boyd are more than ready to solidify their place amongst the best and help Canada find international success.

With guidance from Bester and McKerihen and the experience of teammates Cameron Lefresne, Rob Law, John Bezear, Joanna Cooper and Jordan Kos, Canada’s up and coming stars are in good hands to help Canada reach new heights.

National Head Coach, Terry Scott, had this to say on the team composition: “We have an enthusiastic group of skilled and committed athletes who will proudly represent Canada at the World Championships. It will be a pleasure to work alongside them.” Newly appointed National Assistant Coach Derek Dillon added this: “It is exciting to see a mixture of rookie and veteran athletes make this team. Canada will be well represented again on the international stage”.
