The Atlantic International Challenge was developed collaboratively between Scotland, Canada, USA, and Ireland as a way to develop high-performance athletes and provide opportunities for international play. Building on the success of its inaugural event in Scotland last year, the Atlantic International Challenge brings together top-tier talent from the four participating nations.

The event will take place from September 18th to September 25th at the Windsor Lawn Bowling Club, in Windsor (ON), Canada. This marks a monumental return of global lawn bowling competition to Canadian soil—the first since 1994, featuring nations outside of North America!

The Atlantic International Challenge is an overall team event, rather than an individual event; as such, nations will be competing to get the most points through the whole event. The event will make use of the World Championship format, where five men and five women will compete from each nation. Over 40 elite athletes from the four nations’ high-performance teams will compete, pushing the boundaries of skill, precision, and strategy. The event will feature dynamic matches across singles, pairs, triples, and fours disciplines in both men’s and women’s categories.
