Canadian Bowlers Ready to Take on the 2025 Atlantic Senior Fours in Cyprus
Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB) is happy to share that Canada is represented at the 2025 Atlantic Seniors Fours Competition! There will be two Men’s Fours teams, two Women’s Fours teams, and three Mixed Fours teams proudly representing Canada in the event.
Bowls Cyprus, partnered with Constantinou Bros Hotels, will be hosting the 2nd Atlantic Seniors Fours Competition from December 1st, 2025 to December 12th, 2025. The World Bowls approved event will be held on the greens at the Constantinou Bros Hotels in Paphos, Cyprus.
The Men’s and Women’s Fours games will run concurrently with sectional play in the first part of the tournament, followed by knockout stages (quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals). Following a rest day, the Mixed Fours events will take place following the same format – sectional play to start, followed by knockout stages until the winners are crowned.
Canada was invited to participate in this event, and earlier this year BCB issued an open call for teams to submit their interest. BCB does not select the athletes or determine team composition for this event. Instead, players are invited to form their own teams and apply directly through the open call. This year BCB was pleased to receive a full contingent, with the number of teams that expressed interest matching exactly the number of positions allocated to Canada by the event organizers.
