The team will be joined by the support staff of Terry Scott (Head Coach – Senior Squad), Darryl Fitzgerald (Head Coach – Youth and Development Squads), and Jean Roney (High Performance Committee Member).
Head Coach Terry Scott had this to say “As part of our continued development programme, it is great to see Jordan Kos and Rob Law, two of our rising athletes, take the next step up in their International career. Paired with quality senior players in Ryan Bester, Kelly McKerihen and Leanne Chinery, I am confident that we can produce the necessary results that will see us qualify for the 2020 World Bowls event” Scott continued “It is important now that we build on our outstanding performance at the Commonwealth Games. We have the ability to take another step on the International stage and I believe that we have the team to do just that.”
The finals will take place at the 2018 Commonwealth Games venue, the Broadbeach Bowls Club. The 2018 Games resulted in Canada’s most successful international event to date, and will be familiar territory when the Canadian Squads take to the greens.
