Pacific Indoor Bowls Club to Host 2025 Canadian Indoor Qualifier, October 21–25

Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB) is pleased to announce that the 2025 Canadian Indoor Qualifier will take place October 21-25, 2025, at the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club in Vancouver, British Columbia.

A long-standing and experienced host of this enriched competition, the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club brings a wealth of expertise and a premier indoor facility to support the nation’s top indoor bowlers. After a brief pause last year, Bowls Canada is thrilled to return to this key event on the national calendar.

While not officially designated as a national championship, the Canadian Indoor Qualifier plays a vital role in the competitive bowler pathway. It serves as the exclusive event through which Canadian bowlers can earn the opportunity to represent Canada at the 2026 World Indoor Championships, bridging national competition with the international stage. The winners of the men’s and women’s events at this event will go on to compete against the world’s best in this prestigious international competition.

A total of 12 men and 12 women will compete in this exciting event, representing the top indoor talent from across the country. Each province will be allocated a number of entries to help shape the competitive field. Among the competitors will be the 2023 Canadian Indoor champions Linda Ng (BC) and Mike McNorton (ON), who earn automatic entry into the 2025 event in recognition of their past success.

“We are excited to return to the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club, a venue that has consistently delivered high-quality events and demonstrated strong commitment to the sport,” said Britany Gordon, CEO of Bowls Canada. “This event is a vital step in identifying the athletes who will proudly represent Canada on the world stage.”

Further details regarding provincial allocations and athlete registration will be shared with Provincial Associations in the coming weeks. For more information, please contact the BCB office at [email protected].
