Bowls Canada Boulingrin Welcomes William Mulcahy as Technical Manager

Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB) is pleased to announce the appointment of William Mulcahy as our new Technical Manager. William brings a dynamic blend of leadership, program development, and athlete-centered coaching experience to this national role.

A seasoned sport professional, William most recently served as Director of Rowing and Operations at the Brockville Rowing Club, where he oversaw daily operations, redesigned training programs, and drove significant membership growth. Previously, as a NextGen Performance Coach with Row Ontario, William led high-performance training environments, coordinated integrated support teams, and organized national and international development opportunities for athletes and coaches. His experience includes designing and implementing long-term athlete development plans, delivering coach and athlete education, managing volunteer committees, and building collaborative partnerships across the sport community.

William holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Mercyhurst University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Queen’s University, where he also competed and coached in varsity rowing. Fun fact: William has a 3-year-old Jack Russel named Violet!

As Technical Manager, William will oversee national coaching and officials’ development, support athlete pathways through Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) strategies, and coordinate Canada’s high-performance bowls programs, including Team Canada’s preparation for major international competitions for both able-bodied and para-athletes.

We are excited to welcome William’s passion for sport development, commitment to excellence, and collaborative spirit to Bowls Canada Boulingrin as we continue to grow and enhance the sport of bowls across Canada.

Please join us in welcoming William to our bowls community.
