Schedule Adjustment Confirmed for 2026 Canadian Youth & Junior Lawn Bowling Championships

Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB) has confirmed an adjustment to the schedule for the 2026 Canadian Youth & Junior Lawn Bowling Championships, with competition now set to begin on Monday, August 10 and conclude on Friday, August 14, 2026.

This update reflects a review of the 2026 championship calendar and athlete pathways, particularly for those competing across multiple national events. The revised schedule provides additional time for athletes who both compete at the Youth & Junior Championships and qualify for the Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships (Majors) to travel between events.

The adjustment does not impact the overall competition format or the number of events contested and ensures the championship continues to deliver a complete and competitive experience for all participants.

“Following a review of the full championship schedule, we identified an opportunity to better support athletes competing across multiple events,” said Britany Gordon, CEO at Bowls Canada. “This adjustment allows for appropriate travel time while maintaining the integrity and structure of the Youth & Junior Championships.”

Bowls Canada appreciates the input received from athletes and coaches and remains committed to making decisions that support both performance pathways and the overall championship experience.

Updated event information will be reflected on the official event page.

Registration is set to open next week.
