The 2022 Commonwealth Games are set to begin in Birmingham.

We are less than a day away from the beginning of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK. The first lawn bowling competitionis set to begin at 3:30 am EDT with sectional play for women’s singles and men’s triples. Jordan Kos will be making her Commonwealth debut against Guernsey’s Lucy Beere followed by Eunice Wambui Mbugua from Kenya. Men’s triples team Rob Law, Cameron Lefresne, and Greg Wilson will face off against South Africa followed by Maylasia. All four games will conclude by 8:45am. At 10am will mark the beginning of the afternoon session where sectional play for Ryan Bester, who will make his 6th Commonwealth appearance, and John Bezear will compete in the men’s pairs and will take on New Zealand. Leanne Chinery, Jackie Foster, Jennifer MacDonald and Kelly McKerihen of the women’s fours team will mark the beginning of their Commonwealth Games facing off against Cook Island followed by England.
