The selection process for the National squads are now open
The selection process for the National Senior Squad ( 2023-2026) National Para Squad (2023-2024) and National Youth Squad (2023-2024) are now open.
The High Performance Committee is responsible for ensuring that the selection criteria for the national High Performance Program is implemented as published. Athletes who aspire to be in the High Performance Program must commit to the program requirements outlined in the Selection Criteria. See Each squad’s link for the specific details
The selection process is open to all Canadian bowlers that meet the eligibility criteria as outlined in the Selection Criteria related to the Squad they are applying for under the new cycle.
Senior Squad – Bowlers wishing to be considered for the National Senior Squad must complete the Expression of Interest form and submit the requested materials to Bowls Canada no later than June 15, 2023.
Athletes who so wish will have the opportunity to participate in a Regional Evaluation Camp at their own expense. The following dates are confirmed:

Other Evaluation Days are currently under consideration.
Details of these evaluation days will be provided following the close of applications on June 15, 2023. Participation in a Regional Evaluation Camp is not mandatory for consideration of selection.
Para Squad – Bowlers wishing to be considered for the Para Squad must complete the Expression of Interest form and submit the requested materials to Bowls Canada no later than June 30, 2023.
Youth Squad – Bowlers wishing to be considered for the Youth Squad must complete the Expression of Interest form and submit the requested materials to Bowls Canada no later than June 30, 2023.
