There Is Still a Chance Your Club Could be Hosting the 2023 Canadian Championships!
Ottawa, ON; October 6th, 2022
The bidding deadline has been extended until October 16th at 11:59pm. This is your last chance to bring forth your club to host a national event! National events attract media and local attention putting your club in the spotlight. National events have also given previous host clubs opportunities to receive grants! Bids can be submitted by single clubs, multiple clubs in a co-host bid, and provincial associations who are organizing a multi-club bid. Each event has a technical spec sheet; to obtain a copy, please email Jake Schuknecht at jschuknecht@bowlscanada.com.
Bids will be evaluated by the Development Committee using various criteria such as green quality, club capacity, previous event locations, and existing infrastructure, to name a few. Applicants may be contacted for additional information should the Development Committee require it. All applicants are encouraged to collaborate with their local tourism department and provincial bowls association when putting together a bid.
