Willowdale Lawn Bowling Club to Host 2015 Canadian Championships

Bowls Canada Boulingrin is thrilled to announce that the Willowdale Lawn Bowling Club will be the host of the 2015 Canadian Championships from August 16th-22nd, 2015.
After receiving the news, club president Susan Leong was excited, “We look forward to welcoming all the competitors and officials from across Canada who will be participating in this national event.” The Majors will consist of 250 athletes, coaches, managers and volunteers.
Willowdale LBC features three greens of eight rinks each including a new artificial green. There are 185 members at the club ranging from 10 years old to senior bowlers. There will be a great buzz around the club in the upcoming months filled with preparations leading into the Championships.
